Job Description

A Design Engineer is a professional in charge of finding innovative ways to create products that are functional and meet client wants and needs. They modify existing systems or develop new ideas for processes to make them more efficient. 
Design new engineering products and processesCraft models and drawings of products using CADAnalyze prototype data and retest if neededResearch new product ideas and methodsImprove existing products and processesEnsure compliance with the industry’s safety standardsMaintain accurate recordsEnsure products are user- and environment-friendlyWrite detailed reportsFind creative design solutions to problemsPresent prototypes and designs to customers and project managers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• proven experience using cad software; knowledge of solidworks is a plus
• good understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design
• ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers
